The Italian car manufacturer, Automobili Lamborghini, recently reported a 29.6 percent increase in revenues for the company. This is the eighth consecutive year that Lamborghini has experienced an increase in sales numbers despite the current state of tumultuous international trade. A spokesperson for the company pointed to the demand for the company’s hybrid models, like the Revuelto and the Urus SE.

Lamborghini, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, sold 2,967 vehicles in the first quarter of 2025. The United States continues to be Lamborghini’s largest market, with 933 cars bought by Americans in the first quarter, followed by Germany, the UK, Japan, Italy, South Korea, the Middle East, Switzerland, Australia, and France.

The Hybrid Market Has Proven to Be a Success for Lamborghini

Lamborghini points to the demand for hybrid models as the reason for its stellar growth. The Revuelto features a 6.5-liter V12 engine, complemented by three electric motors that produce a combined power of 746.5 kW.  The Revuelto was the first high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car.
